Now you have created a great website, built strong backlinks and found the related advertisers to your contents as your affiliate partners. It’s time to watch and let that affiliate money turn over, is it? Absolutely wrong. As any other business, setting up a great affiliate site is just the beginning of your affiliate marketing. Now you must make it work as you expected. This is my fifth article out of six on affiliate marketing for beginners.

Calls to Action: The Fourth Step to Become a Successful Affiliate
You can have a eye-catching website that attracts traffic and has appropriate advertisers related to your contents and still not be receiving as many clicks as you would expect. Why? One of few reasons is that you may be missing a strong call to action. A call to action means, the content on your site that gets your visitors to do what you want, namely, click on your advertiser’s links.
How to Create a Strong Call to Action
To create a strong call to action, you simply need to develop a piece of content that talks to your visitors and helps them understand why it is important that they carry out the recommended action, be it to click on a link or banner ad, order a project or fill out a lead generation form. You need to illustrate visitors with convincing copy and provide strong reasons for why they need to carry out the action.
You should tell your visitors how to perform that action. Example: If your website contents are related to auto insurance then tell your visitors to fill out the simple form on this site (advertiser’s website) to get information about cheap auto insurance rates. You should also let them inform when to execute the action (now, before it’s too late, of course!).
The Importance of Calls to Action
A visitor always needs a little push, even though he is attracted and motivated to purchase. Always remember that as your visitors are just enjoying your site, they are free from any kind of promises.
Once visitors come to your site and follow your call to action, they are making an assurance. You need to convince them that it’s something they need, so they can click with confidence.
